Cash App Afterpay: Get It A$AP
To launch Cash App Afterpay in the U.S., we partnered with A$AP Rocky and AWGE to turn one of fashion's biggest cultural moments into an instant shopping experience. The campaign debuted alongside the 2025 Met Gala, where Rocky arrived wearing a custom AWGE parka inspired by the exhibition's theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. Within moments of his red carpet appearance, fans could purchase the same hero piece—alongside an exclusive AWGE capsule—using Cash App Afterpay.

A social-first campaign designed for the speed of culture. Rather than reacting to the Met Gala conversation, we became part of it—turning A$AP Rocky's red carpet moment into an immediate retail experience that spread across fashion media, creators, and social platforms. We showed how social can extend beyond awareness to create participation, conversation, and commerce in real time.
Following the Met Gala launch, we evolved the campaign from cultural awareness to customer impact. We kicked off with a social-first teaser campaign, dropping cryptic "1-855-GET-ASAP" creative that sparked curiosity and encouraged audiences to call before revealing what was behind it.
